The Stratus 35 and Atmos 40 are recommended for larger bodies of water and offshore environments where rescue may not be readily available, suitable for fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, and sailing, but not for PWC, water skiing, or towables. The Arcus 40 is designed for boating professionals and enthusiasts regularly traversing open or offshore waters where rescue may not be imminent, recommended for experienced fishing, boating, and sailing, but not for PWC, water skiing, or towables. The Cirro 16 is great for inland/coastal rivers, lakes, and casual paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and boating, but not for PWC, water skiing, or towables.

All of Bluestorm's life jackets are U.S. Coast Guard-approved and feature automatic inflation, a back-up oral inflation tube, and adjustable chest sizes ranging from 30" to 56". They also offer re-arm kits for each model, allowing users to easily maintain and reuse their life jackets.
